Privacy Policy

Overview
Drip ("we," "our," or "us") is a personal fashion discovery platform that helps you follow brands, curate a feed of products, and manage your wardrobe. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you may have under privacy laws including the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and California privacy laws.
Drip is a discovery and referral layer. We do not hold inventory, sell products, fulfil orders, or act as the merchant of record. If you click through to a brand's website or complete a purchase there, that brand independently controls its own website, checkout, fulfilment, returns, and privacy practices.
Drip is currently in early access beta. Features and data practices may evolve, but material privacy changes will be reflected here and, where appropriate, surfaced in the app or on the website.
Controller & contact
For information we collect directly through Drip, Drip is the controller or business responsible for that personal information. You can contact us at support@dripp.fashion.
If you believe a product listing, brand listing, image, profile, or other content on Drip includes personal information, copyrighted material, unlawful content, or data that should not be displayed, email support@dripp.fashion with the relevant URL or screenshot and enough context for us to review it. We will investigate and remove, restrict, correct, or de-index content where appropriate.
Information we collect
Account identifiers. When you create an account, we collect your email address, handle, display name, authentication provider identifiers, and password hash if you use password login. We never store your password in plain text. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the account information that provider makes available, such as name, email address, and provider ID.
Profile, style, and shopping preferences. We collect the preferences you provide during onboarding and in Settings, including gender preference, age range, clothing sizes, shoe sizes, dress sizes where applicable, price comfort, brand follows, vibe preferences, liked products, wardrobe entries, and shopping habits. Some of these fields can be personal or sensitive depending on your jurisdiction; we use them to personalize Drip and do not sell them.
Commercial and interaction data. We collect brands you follow, products you view, likes, wardrobe saves, cart items, searches, recently viewed products, notifications, referral clicks, and self-reported purchase confirmations. We do not collect payment card numbers or bank account details.
User submissions and communications. If you submit a brand URL, profile content, support message, takedown request, dispute, or feedback, we collect the content of that submission and related metadata.
Waitlist and marketing information. If you submit your email address for early access or updates, we store that address to send invitations, launch updates, and service-related messages. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
Device, log, and security data. We may collect IP address, approximate region, device type, operating system, app or browser version, crash logs, timestamps, and security events to operate, protect, and debug the Service. We do not collect precise GPS location unless a future feature asks for it with clear notice and permission.
Public storefront data. We collect product and brand information from publicly available storefronts, including names, descriptions, images, prices, availability, source URLs, and metadata. This is not usually personal data, but we will review requests if a listing contains personal information or unlawful content.
What we do not collect
We do not collect or store payment card numbers, bank account details, government identifiers, biometric identifiers, precise GPS location, or health records. Purchases are processed directly by the underlying brand or a payment provider, and Drip is not the merchant of record.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not serve third-party ads inside Drip.

Legal bases for UK/EU users
Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract. To provide the account, feed, preferences, social, and notification features you request.
- Legitimate interests. To improve recommendations, protect the Service, measure performance, prevent abuse, and operate a fashion discovery platform in a way that does not override your rights.
- Consent. For optional marketing, optional device permissions, and any future processing where consent is legally required. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation. To comply with valid legal requests, tax, accounting, consumer protection, platform safety, and rights-request obligations.
Our recommendations and classifications may involve profiling, but we do not use automated processing to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Third-party content & product accuracy
Drip aggregates product data — including names, descriptions, images, and prices — directly from third-party brand websites via their publicly available storefronts. We do not create, edit, or endorse this content.
We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of product information displayed on Drip. Prices, availability, and product details are subject to change at the source brand's discretion and may not always reflect real-time stock.
Third-party images and media. All product images displayed in Drip are sourced directly from the respective brand's storefront. Drip does not screen, moderate, or control the content of images hosted by third-party brands. In the event that a brand's storefront is compromised, hacked, or otherwise used to distribute inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content, such content may temporarily appear in Drip before we are able to detect and remove it. We are not responsible for third-party content of this nature, but we take reports of inappropriate content seriously and will act to remove affected brand listings promptly. To report inappropriate content, contact us at support@dripp.fashion.
Drip acts as a discovery and aggregation layer only. We are not the seller, retailer, or merchant of record for any product listed on the platform. Any purchase made through a brand's website is subject to that brand's own terms, return policy, and fulfillment obligations. Drip accepts no liability for disputes arising between you and a brand.
AI-assisted classification
We use automated systems, including large language models provided by third-party AI services (currently Deepseek), to classify product and brand data — for example, to assign style tags, garment types, and fit descriptors. This classification is performed on product names, descriptions, and brand metadata scraped from public storefronts. No personal user data is sent to AI classification services.
AI-generated classifications are approximate and may contain errors. We do not use AI to make decisions about individual users.
Brand website click-throughs
When you click through to a brand's website from Drip, you leave Drip and interact with that brand directly. Drip does not currently use affiliate network redirects for these links.
Commercial relationships, if introduced later, will not influence which brands or products are surfaced in your feed. Our recommendation algorithms are based solely on your stated preferences and usage patterns.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We disclose personal information only as needed to operate Drip, comply with law, or complete actions you request.
We may share data with:
Service providers. We use third-party services including Supabase (database hosting), Railway (server hosting), email and analytics providers, and payment providers if checkout features are introduced. These providers are expected to process data only for the services they provide to us.
AI classification services. Product metadata (names, descriptions, brand information) is processed by Deepseek for classification purposes. No personal user data is shared with AI providers.
Brand websites. When you click through to a brand's site or initiate checkout, you leave Drip and interact with that brand directly. We do not proactively disclose your Drip profile to brands, but the brand may collect information from you under its own privacy policy.
Professional, safety, and legal recipients. We may disclose information to advisors, security vendors, law enforcement, regulators, courts, or rights holders where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or comply with law.
Business transfers. If Drip is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.
Marketing & email
We may send transactional messages about your account, security, submissions, notifications, or changes to Drip. We may also send marketing emails about Drip if you signed up for updates or if applicable law otherwise permits.
Marketing emails will identify Drip as the sender, avoid misleading subject lines, include a way to unsubscribe, include Drip's valid postal address or registered mailbox, and honor marketing opt-out requests within the legally required timeframe. You cannot opt out of essential account, security, or legal notices.
California privacy notice
If the CCPA applies to Drip and you are a California resident, this section describes our practices for the preceding 12 months and your California rights.
Categories collected. We may collect identifiers; account login credentials; internet or network activity; commercial information such as product views, likes, follows, and referral clicks; approximate geolocation; user-generated content; inferences about style and shopping preferences; and sensitive personal information only where needed to provide the account or security features you request.
Sources. We collect information from you, your device, your use of Drip, authentication providers, service providers, and public brand storefronts.
Purposes. We use information for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, personalization, security, analytics, support, legal compliance, and product improvement.
Disclosure. We may disclose categories of information to service providers, hosting providers, analytics providers, affiliate networks, legal recipients, and business-transfer recipients as described above. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your rights. California residents may request to know, access, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and exercise rights without discrimination. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. Contact support@dripp.fashion to submit a request.
International transfers
Drip may process and store information in the United Kingdom, United States, European Economic Area, and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Subscriptions
Drip does not currently offer paid subscriptions. If we introduce subscriptions, we will present the price, billing interval, renewal terms, cancellation method, and any trial-to-paid conversion terms before charging you. We will not enroll you in an automatically renewing paid subscription without affirmative consent, and we will provide an easy cancellation method as required by applicable law, including California automatic-renewal rules where they apply.
Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your account in the app where available or request deletion by contacting support@dripp.fashion. We generally process deletion requests within 30 days after verifying the request.
Some information may be retained longer where required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, backup integrity, or legitimate business records. We may retain anonymized or aggregated information that no longer identifies you.
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request removal, unsubscribe, or the waitlist is converted into a standard account or launch communication flow with appropriate notice and opt-out controls.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Opt out of marketing emails
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@dripp.fashion. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
Takedown requests
You may request removal or correction of personal data, profile content, user submissions, brand submissions, or product listings that unlawfully expose personal information, violate rights, contain unlawful content, or should not appear on Drip. Send the URL or product/brand identifier, the reason for the request, and any supporting details to support@dripp.fashion.
Copyright notices, counter-notices, and other intellectual-property requests are handled under our Terms of Use. Privacy or data takedown requests do not replace DMCA procedures, but we may remove or restrict content while reviewing a report.
Children's privacy
Drip is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users under 18 should use Drip only with parental or guardian consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, contact us immediately and we will take appropriate action.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed password storage, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notifying you within the app. Continued use of Drip after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
