Overview

Drip ("we," "our," or "us") is a personal fashion discovery platform that helps you follow brands, curate a feed of products, and manage your wardrobe. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By using Drip, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash — we never store your password in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID.

Profile and preferences. We collect information you provide during onboarding and in Settings, including your gender, clothing sizes, shoe sizes, price preferences, and shopping habits. This information is used solely to personalise your feed.

Shipping address. If you provide a shipping address, we store it to pre-fill checkout flows. You can update or delete your address at any time in Settings.

Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with the app — brands you follow, products you view, items you add to your watchlist or cart, and searches you perform. This data is used to improve recommendations.

Device information. We may collect basic device information such as operating system version and app version for the purpose of diagnosing technical issues.

What we do not collect

We do not collect or store payment card numbers, bank account details, or any sensitive financial information. Purchases are processed directly by the underlying brand's website, and we are not the merchant of record.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not serve third-party advertising within the app.

How we use your information

• To create and maintain your account
• To personalise your product feed and brand recommendations
• To remember your preferences, cart, and recently viewed items
• To facilitate checkout by pre-filling your shipping address
• To improve the accuracy of our fashion taxonomy and recommendation algorithms
• To communicate with you about your account or changes to the service

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We may share data with:

Service providers. We use third-party services including Supabase (database hosting), Railway (server hosting), and Stripe (payment processing). These providers are contractually obligated to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

Affiliate networks. When you click through to a brand's site, your visit may be tracked by Skimlinks for affiliate commission purposes. No personally identifiable information is shared with Skimlinks.

Brand websites. When you click through to a brand's site or initiate a checkout, you are subject to that brand's own privacy policy. We do not share your personal data with brands proactively.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at biomwalk@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Some information may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form after account deletion for the purpose of improving our service.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability

Children's privacy

Drip is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed password storage, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notifying you within the app. Continued use of Drip after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
